The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested 15 suspected internet fraudsters in Benue State.
A statement on Tuesday via X revealed that the arrests were made by operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Directorate at Abu King Shuluwa Street, Akpehe, based on actionable intelligence on their alleged fraudulent activities.

The EFCC disclosed that numerous items were seized during the operation including two cars, five laptops, and 17 mobile phones.
“The suspects were arrested at Abu King Shuluwe Street Akpehe, Makurdi metropolis based on actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet fraud.
“Items recovered from them include: two cars, five laptop computers, 17 mobile phones, among others. The suspects would be charged in court as soon as their investigations are concluded.” The Commission revealed.
