The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has announced Mubarak Saliu Musa as its candidate for governor of Kogi State, with Tanimu Idris serving as his running mate. In a recent statement, the National Publicity Secretary of the NNPP, Agbo Major, claimed that Musa had won the party’s governorship primary election in Lokoja, Kogi State, which had been duly observed by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He also claimed that he had been given the NNPP certificate of return.
