The EFCC disclosed that numerous items were seized during the operation including two cars, five laptops, and 17 mobile phones.

On August 23rd, 2023, this reporter submitted a freedom of information request to the office of the commissioner’s Ministry of Cooperatives, Urban and Rural Development in Benue State, to get the details of the contract, but the letter was not responded to.
When the reporter visited the ministry on the 2nd of October, the receptionist at the commissioner’s office noted that the submitted letter was missing.
The same project was also nominated for grading and building of the Oru bridge in 2020 by the senator representing Benue South senatorial district Senator. Sen. Abba Moro
However, the construction of the Cancer Screening Centre was not completed due to delay in the payment of outstanding fees as agreed by the contractor and the Benue State Government.
The bill was initiated by Barnabas Gemade, who at that time served as a senator representing Benue North-East senatorial district (Zone A) of Benue State.
In a bid to get the details of the contractor, UDEME sent a Freedom of Information Letter to the Agency in March, requesting the details of the contractor, the exact location of the project, and the total amount of money released in May 2023.
