Key stakeholders in the campaign, including environmental advocates, policy leaders, and social media influencers, played an essential role in amplifying the message of renewable energy. The widespread engagement fostered by these influencers helped raise awareness and inspired local communities to embrace renewable energy as part of Nigeria’s clean energy goals.
“By involving young people and encouraging them to share valuable information, we’ve built a network of advocates who are now better equipped to champion renewable energy in their communities,” added Ujih.
The campaign’s success was reflected in the high levels of engagement across various social media platforms, with participants sparking meaningful conversations on the significance of renewable energy in Nigeria’s future.
