Former Nasarawa State deputy governor Professor Onje Gye-Wado has been abducted. The state police public relations officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the kidnapping in a news release early on Friday. According to him, armed men abducted him on Friday morning from Gye Wado’s home in the Gwagi village of the state’s Wamba Local Government. A police tactical squad, along with other security personnel, has reportedly begun searching for the victim to ensure his or her safety.
