Niger’s APC leader argues in favor of Sani Musa for the Senate presidency.

Mohammed Nma Kolo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Niger State, asserted that the ruling party needed to reimburse the North Central for the region’s voters’ dedication and allegiance to the party during the most recent general elections.

Mohammed Nma Kolo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Niger State, asserted that the ruling party needed to reimburse the North Central for the region’s voters’ dedication and allegiance to the party during the most recent general elections.

Kolo suggested that the party reward the zone by letting it produce the 10th Senate’s presiding officer.

The APC leader observed that the state’s APC leadership made enormous sacrifices that helped the party pass crucial turning points prior to the triumph of the February presidential election in a statement released on Thursday in Abuja.

Senator Sani Musa of Niger State is an exceptionally qualified candidate for the seat, according to Kolo, should it ultimately be micro-zoned to the North Central.

“It is only fair and acceptable that the Senate Presidency should be awarded to the North Central, where Niger State is excellently qualified for the task,” he stated. “With the President from the South-West and Vice President from the North East.”

The Niger State governor and Senator Sani Musa, a prominent member of the party, made enormous sacrifices, which the APC leader recalled

For his “strong dedication to the advancement and development of the party,” he claimed Sani Musa (APC Niger East) deserved to get special compensation.

“Sani Musa has completed several tasks for the party, including sponsoring party operations and providing various logistical support at the local, state, and federal levels,” he claimed.

“The party should think about keeping its leader in place.”

The APC should not be in a hurry to forget the inglorious days of in-fighting between the Eighth Assembly and the Presidency, which in many ways affected the government’s provision of the dividends of democracy to the people.

“The Niger East Senator must be given the opportunity to add value to the leadership of the Upper Chamber.”

“The 10th Assembly and indeed the Senate need a presiding officer that would provide the necessary stimulus for the executive to provide Nigerians with quality leadership. This should be paramount in the minds of everyone, especially the leaders of our dear party, the Trustees All Progressives Congress (APC).

“We, therefore, ask the esteemed APC National Chairman, Distinguished Senator Abdullahi Adamu, and the Board of Trustees (BOT) of our great party, alongside the National Working Committee (NWC), to consider loyalty to the party in the choice of the Senate presiding officer.

“Also important is the legislative ingenuity, astute leadership qualities, in a person who is able to work with the Senate President (SP), as a Deputy Senate President (DSP), that would carry all 109 Senators along for peaceful, effective and efficient legislative service delivery for the country.
